About this deal

Wingspan is a game really enjoy playing with my wife and she really enjoys it too. Maybe because she always wins :-). Same thing applies to Viticulture and Tuscany! Thanks! Just got the game and have played 4 times in duet mode- very different from the first three sets! Wingspan: Asia is therefore a perfect place to begin your Wingspan journey, assuming that the two player count is important to you. If you already have Wingspan and just want the additional cards and content, there is still enough here for you. The card art is perfectly in keeping with other versions, the new eggs mix in well, and the food dice are — at worst — great spares for when your original dice start to wear. For me, this is another delightful expansion — it’s thoughtful, innovative and it adds to all areas of the experience. There’s nothing not to like.

A number of birds (like the Song Sparrow) have a brown power that lets you move them to another habitat if it is to the right of all the birds in its original habitat: “WHEN ACTIVATED: if this bird is to the right of all other birds in it’s habitat, you may move it to another habitat.”

Products which have been validated as children’s toys ought to be allowed a specific logo and a certificate number, along with fines etc for absuing it. I have never had something go wrong with the original cardboard version of the game. (OK, sometimes I draw a starting set of cards that I don’t like, but that doesn’t count.) If you choose to use this power, do you move you action cube with the card and continue to the left in its new habitat? Or do you leave the cube and continue to the left in its original one? I am curious about the expansion called “Oceania”, I work at a store who sells boardgames in Sweden, we have the base game, and European edition in both Swedish and English editions, though I am curious if the Oceania edition will be translated too? a lot of customers have asked me if the Swedish versions can be combined with the English editions? Ofcourse I would love to have the Oceania expansion in Swedish since I have the other two versions in Swedish. Question 2: Australian owlet Nightjar…one of those ‘between turns’ powers. He had started his turn and then remembered I had gotten food…does he get food when I finish my play or when he ‘remembers the power?

Yellow Bittern is an interesting new card drawing bird. It only lets you draw the middle card from the bird tray. I’m a little surprised that this bird is worth zero points. Player2 has a “Kill: Once between turns: Gain a rat/fish/snail when another player takes the food action, at the end of their turn” (Oce-expansion). Thanks James! I really got quite a good insight into avoiding crude oil products for toys and games in any form. You might want to take a closer look into this example:This game end egg laying power asks you to arrange certain nest types adjacent to each other, so strategic placement is key. Aggressive egg spam strategies may not get much from this power as nest space will be tight.

Hi Deb! When you need to pay an egg cost, the egg can come from anywhere on your playermat (this isn’t considered “stealing”).

Wingspan Asia

This bird is not only an efficient and flexible point bomb, but it also grants card advantage! Dropping a seven-point bird that also gives you three cards is amazing!

Yellow powers confirmed for Wingspan Asia Expansion! Quite frankly, this is a pretty cool bird! Copying a bonus card is a unique new effect for Wingspan. Rufous has been a colour since 1782 (see Wikipedia) and this should be obvious becasue it is being to to describe the colour of the band. Andrew: You’re right, there was a lot of plastic in Wingspan. At a certain point we did switch to biodegradable bags, and the other plastic in the game is designed to be used in the game itself (trays and eggs), but you’re right–it was too much.Personally, I’m all in on Wingspan. I should be considered a hardcore fan. I am always excited to see what new and interesting things show up next, and I will very likely be buying all of the remaining expansions. If you enjoy Terraforming Mars and Gizmos, we think this game will take flight at your table. Please join us in the Wingspan Facebook group to discuss the game! For the end-of-round goal, sets of eggs in all habitats, does each “set” need to be on a different card in the habitat, or can I have 2 sets using only 1 card in each habitat? If you ask a question about a specific card or ability, please type the exact text in your comment to help facilitate a speedy and precise answer.
