About this deal

The jig requires a 1/2- inch plunge router with a 80mm plunge, fitted with a 30mm guide bush with 6mm spigot & 12mm diameter long reach cutter. A 1/4-inch plunge router can be used for the face plate but will not achieve full depth of mortise. Adjustable edge guides with preset for hinge of 0.787 inch (20mm), 0.984 inch (25mm) and 1-3/16 inch (30mm). To maximise the potential of the router, we offer a range of accessories for the professional user and craftsperson. Clean & accurate recesses are achieved every time. Suitable for timber based doors & square butt hinges.

Includes long reach 15/32 inch diameter with 1/4 inch shank TCT router bit and 1-3/16 inch screw-on style guide bush. The jig is supplied with a carry bag, bradawls and a special 16mm guide bush.The recommended router cutters for use with the jig are Refs. 3/8LX1/4TC, TR12X1/4TC or C019AX1/4TC.The cutters must have a 12.0mm diameter and a minimum overall length of 70mm. The jig has fully adjustable apertures for fire door requirements and renovation work. It is ideal for fitting a new door into an old frame, and is suitable for timber based doors and square butt hinges. The jig is supplied with a carry case, bradawls and a special 16mm guide bush, making it ideal for professional and DIY use. Many hinge sizes are possible, minimum length is 67mm and the maximum length is 127mm and the minimum width is 12.7mm and the maximum width is 35mm.
